Light in the Trees

Struggling to get interested in anything today. Sunshine and blue sky, even though I left it later in the day for the contrast to fall. Clocks have gone forward, so it stays light later now.

Eventually tried another shot into the sun, not sure I'm getting any better at this type of photo. It's a question of balancing the exposure, getting the darks to look dark enough, but keep some detail. I do like the way the light rays fan out across the snow, so I tried to emphasize them.
