White Poppy
I searched the garden for something either interesting or beautiful or both and after photographing some of the flowers bloomng at the moment I chose this poppy.
Compared with the tough Australian natives, it looked so delicate, even ephemeral, and it is the only poppy left standing. Also, strangely enough, it was the only white one in the whole batch. It will probably lose its delicate petals in tomorrow's summer winds.
I felt it had a message, something about the temporary nature of life on one hand, but also the beauty that can make a difference during that time.
