Attacked!

Last night as I was lying in bed dealing with my vertigo, Mr Marley decided to bite and scratch me! I screamed, he attacked again. I had to patch myself up to stop the bleeding. Went back to bed feeling very sorry for myself.
This is some the result, plus a tetanus shot and antibiotics. Does he know about the dog? Is this payback in advance?
