Cheerio for a wee while

My in laws have gone bank to Scotland after 6 or so months in Oz. They seem to have settled on a lifestyle that straddles both countries, enabling them to remain connected with family members in both places.

They lent me their car (in the picture) whilst mine was being repaired. I sold it to them cheaply 3 or so years ago, with the proviso that the turbo was squeaky and would probably be uneconomic to replace should it fall.

But, really? Did it have to finally give up whilst I was borrowing it?
