Clean up

An unpleasant wind chilled me out the front as I watered some of the sheltered plants. Two small plants are dying for no obvious reason. I feel quite sad. The other plants around them are fine.

I pulled weeds around the back until it was dark. It was more sheltered than the front. Weeds love new soil. I refuse to put weed mat down because I wouldn't be able to build the soil up and it's hard to manage when you want to change things around. I'll have to accept some weeds until things grow.

Back inside I needed to clean the dishes that didn't go in the dishwasher. I need an early night as I fell asleep on the bus coming home.

Today's gratitude: For the fresh air and time in the garden. My headache went away.
