Mixed emotions day

This little cutie, Dorcas, wanted to come home with us today after church and thankfully her parents were okay with that, and I was thrilled!

As it was her birthday during the week, Ben and I took her to the toy shop to get her a birthday gift. She chose Elsa from Frozen! The extra photo shows her holding Elsa up so she could look out the window and appreciate the ride on the bus. How adorable.

While she was here, Elizabeth rang to tell us that their beloved dog Kaya, passed away at home. Ben rushed over to be with their son who was extremely distraught.

Kaya was very much a delight and had the most gentle temperament for a big dog. We shall all miss her dearly.

Finished off preparing the room/house for our guests arriving tonoroww. Too exciting.
