A most enjoyable day. Winds had dropped by the morning. First port of call was to look for paint for lounge walls, kitchen and bathroom ceiling.

Exhausted we repaired to Sainsburys for coffee after we’d visited Aldi and before we called in at Waitrose. From there we walked down to the Medway then along the river to Allington and back to pick up the car.

Spent a few hours at the allotment this afternoon. It’s looking good, but, as always there’s more to do than there is time available.

Made a scotch broth for dinner with pretty much the last produce from the patch; leeks, swede and onions. Only purple sprouting left.

I was looking for a MonoMonday shot; deliberate. Couldn’t see anything that hit the spot, so you have to make do with this shot of a bit of a derelict barge on the Medway. Should have taken it yesterday!
