Construction!

Road Works! It’s almost impossible to imagine how much construction work is being carried out in central Benidorm at the moment.
It seems that every major road is affected by speed restrictions, roads closures, diversions of traffic, one way systems being reversed......
heavy earth moving vehicles of every shape, ......
pipes...large, larger and enormous!...waiting to be installed!

I rarely feel sorry for the tourists, but right now I do!
...it must be like holidaying in an enormous construction site!

The ‘below pavement’ work being done, is for us, the residents, new water systems, new gas and electricity conduits.....
a massive renewal of the infrastructure.....
I can’t imagine where they found all the workers!?
And, I’m told...Most of it will be completed before the beginning of the summer season, by Easter weekend!
