Combestone Tor
It was nice to have a bright day. I had my Tai Chi class this morning but after lunch I went up to the moor to Combestone Tor, near Hexworthy. I love the hawthorn trees that grow around here, beaten and sculptured by the winds. If you look closely you'll see the tree in my main blip is composed of at least three trees woven together and in the extra you'll see it again as the left hand one of the two trees and you can see the shape. No prizes for guessing which way the prevailing wind blows! It was a bit blowy up there today but nothing compared to what will be arriving tonight as Gareth blows in.
