Taking the plunge!

Delighted to be visited this week by our daughter and she is in to wild swimming. Well , she couldn't get more wild than taking a dip in the North Sea off St. Abbs headland. L informed us that the sea was far warmer than her usual swim place, Loch Morlich. It's great to have her with us as we have all been through a hideous few weeks.
Four weeks ago today my son and husband were involved in a horrendous
motor accident on route to Skye. D was driving his Toyota Hilux truck with H as passenger when a car approached on a right hand bend on their side of the road. The other driver was driving at speed, asleep at the wheel at 2 in the afternoon. D managed to take some avoiding action but the truck took the hit on the passenger side, H has a broken sternum and both are experiencing nasty whiplash.  It's been a bit of a ghastly few weeks but finally D is fit to return to work and has a new truck. The other driver is being charged with careless driving.....
Whilst that was ongoing poor wee Fin has developed Canine Epilepsy, we endured a troubled few days last weekend when the prescribed drugs had not taken hold and he suffered several fits in 24 hours. He is now stabilised and all is good so far, fingers crossed. Mylo continues to be content and I will try to keep up with Blip, family permitting!
