Snow Capped Criffle,Incoming tide.photogenic Gull

Transport duties resulted in an early bracing  walk along the sea wall and south arm of Mayport's harbour. I couldn't get over how much snow was still present across the Solway firth, so when my hands had warmed up out came my camera, a gull flew onto a fencing post near me, so while it was there I took a shot, the sand under the North Arm, wooden extension, looked dry, which indicated that the tide was on its way in.
