My home office window hasn't been right since it was replaced last year with a lovely new window.  The problem we have is rather odd.  The window is perfectly sealed in, we have had it checked many times by many different people but yet it lets in rain water....it has been concluded that the wood beam that sits above the window has been damaged when the window fitters took out an old down beam for the new window.  The window company refuse to agree that this may be why water comes in and refuse to possibly agree that maybe their treatment of the old beams have caused damage.  Well anyway, we are trying to find a solution but other things took priority over the last few weeks and as such I put a towel onto the windowsill to catch any water that may come in......Mills seems to think that the towel is an absolutely perfect idea as she has spent all afternoon asleep on the windowsill in the full sun, very comfortable indeed so there are for someone at least a very positive outcome!
