Daffodils
Time to blip these daffodils fully open, before the wind bashes them about too much. Given how breezy it is today I was lucky to get a reasonably steady photograph of them. It's classic March weather - windy, sunny, and still cold enough to remind you that spring isn't properly here yet, even if it has seemed quite early this year.
We've got robins building a nest in an ivy-covered fence. For the last few days they've been flying in and out with nest material so we're hoping that if all goes well they'll raise a brood successfully. They're building about three feet away from the garden path, but they're so tolerant of humans that I don't think they'll be bothered by passers-by. I don't think cats can get at their chosen spot but more problematic may be magpies, if they figure out that the nest is there.
