... if there is a fence (or similar) between me and the subject, when taking candid shots.

In this case, I'd like to think it was deliberate - to fit in with the Mono Monday theme of 'Deliberate'.

As you can see, the weather is much more pleasant than yesterday's sleet and snow, but it is still pretty chilly.
