"Big Daddy"

A great day out racing on the Bay today, on my friend Brian's boat in the "Big Daddy" pursuit race, around Alcatraz and Angel Islands. With thundery showers all around, the light was frequently extraordinary (though hard for my little Tough to do justice to it). Our race was fun and went well, we saw dolphins and a humpback whale near the Bay Bridge, and even better, the squalls and showers stuck to the city and the hills, we didn't get rained on at all.
