Snowy Sunday Pipes and Drums.....

An early start today to feed cattle before being Dad’s Taxi for Littlemiss . She had to be at Livingston for 8am to take part in the pipe band championships at Inveralmond High School.
Another new experience for me was using the sat nav in the car. Usually I rely on my in built sense of direction or a trusty OS map , but Livingston is a mystery to me as it’s all roundabouts and slip roads and everywhere leads back to where you started !
Her band played quite well but there were a lot of bands in their group so didn’t hang around once they were finished.
The weather soon turned to sleet and snow showers on and off all day.
The ewes have started spitting lambs out ( as they do with vigour as soon as the weather turns crap ) so the first smote are into the shed tonight.
This was George Heriots band playing . They did well considering that they all looked very wee. At least they were there- the Govan band’s bus seemingly broke down in the snow on the M8 !
