A life on stone

I love walking through cemeteries looking at the headstones. I have been amazed at the beautifully etched headstones I’ve seen here in Switzerland, both yesterday in Zurich and today in Meiringen. The stones themselves are very varied in type and texture. The pictures tell a tale about the life of the deceased, whither their occupation or their passion. Beautifully crafted. Worthy memorials.
