Lilly

Weatherwise, today was miserable. I worked from home and had no call to venture outside until after it got dark. I took some gloomy, rainy shots of flood lights, but couldn't get the exposure right. I then went to a concert by Fiddlesticks, the orchestra Samuel plays in. I tried photographing them, but couldn't get the exposure right for that either. Got home and saw that the first leaf had fallen from the lillies Jo gave Fiona when Effie died.

The exposure's okay on this one even though the photo looks like an advert for some rubbish hotel chain or restaurant. The composition could have been better but I didn't want to cheat and move it.
