What's The Story?

Well, my story is that we're visiting #2 Daughter in Edinburgh and on Fridays we go into the city with her while  she has an appointment. We can always find things in St Giles' cathedral to interest us. There are just so many examples of amazing craftsmanship, like the carving of this Morning Glory. A larger image in Extras.

Today being International Women's Day this carving was an easy choice, especially as I missed doing a special blip for World Book Day, yesterday! I noticed the book in the lady's hand but don't know the story!

An afternoon checking on how the allotment had done through the winter and then an evening at Zizzi's by the end of the canal at The Quay. I had a lovely Risotto Pesce. Fantastic!
