Tails in a row

I was transiting through Schiphol Airport today on my way back home from Spain. Waiting in the departures concourse I came across these wide bodied KLM aircraft waiting patiently at their gates to ferry their passengers somewhere. Hopefully that somewhere has better weather, as it is a dank overcast and wet day here in Amsterdam.

I am always inspired by Schiphol when I pass through - it’s ordered efficiency when it comes to moving about the terminal could so be used by other airports around the world. It’s a place of cheerful bustle even if some of the passengers look quite stressed as they dart to make their flights. It is a true meeting point of the world.
