Can I have D Bill?

It’s been a pretty busy Saturday, kicking off with a long dog walk with D. We battled rain and gale force winds but felt all the better for it. I then tackled this weeks school
planning and sent that off to my job share partner ready for Monday. Tidied up the house and changed the children’s beds, managed a half hour nana nap then got ready to go out.
D and I marched up to the Brewery for a couple of drinks then went over to Frances and Bill’s for dinner. It was a pleasant surprise that Henny and Anton were also there who we haven’t seen since Christmas Eve. Bill rustled up an amazing 3 course Indian dinner which is no mean feat particularly as he was catering for one gluten, dairy, sugar and meat free customer. We then retired to the sofa and chatted until late.
The photo shows Bill about to open a bottle of wine D gave him for Christmas 2009 and very nice it was too. A really fabulous evening.
