Irish wolfhound on Portobello beach

We made the most of the two hours of clear skies and sunshine forecast this morning to head for the beach. This was the first time at Portobello for the Foxes. We took them along the promenade, played on the outdoor gym equipment, admired the various dogs out and about (one blipped), and enjoyed tea/coffee and scones at the Espy.

Then it was back home for lunch, cooking (me) and rugby (the others), and a quick game of Catan (I won). Katharine and Jack came over at 7pm for supper (curries followed by pecan and maple syrup chocolate mousse) and five hours of fun and chat.

Exercise today: walking (11,893 steps).
