Buds appearing

It was gloriously sunny today, so after I left the library I drove down to Carkeek Park to look for signs of Spring, which I long for so desperately.  Lots of plants were budding, getting ready for the warmer weather.  The bush in Extra is opening its florets and fattening its berries.  It's always colder at Carkeek than the surrounding area, because it's so much closer to sea level, so I had to bundle up and try not to shiver.  I enjoyed it anyway.  Hope you are all enjoying fine weekends too.
