Sprung Tide
The spring tide at Belhaven was at low-ebb this morning and I hoped the cold weather would have left sheets of ice blanketing the salt marsh as the high tide retreated - but it was just warm enough to melt and all that was left were little patches of frost like this. The rain rolled in after lunch and we all huddled inside.
Bigger Beach.
Faither came over for a visit, bearing gifts for his grandchildren and a load of cakes and homemade mince pies from Elinor. Very nice!
Just one more working day to go and I'm really looking forward to the break. Must fit in a trip to The Hobbit with the older boys through the week.
