A rare evening with my dad
Today was a Singing workshop. It was a good one, we learnt the last song, so now we polish them and add harmonies etc. There was a good discussion about musical modes, dropped fifths and whatnot, most of which sailed well above my head, but was still ever so interesting.
Then a pie lunch with Shaun and some charity shop vinyl finds.
Made lasagna for tea, then sat in front of the fire with my dad, listening to records and chatting, just the two of us. It was lovely, and rare and precious.
Finished my knitting project, a plain hat, meant for a child, which turned out to fit my dad's bald patch perfectly! It's his now.
