Heron

It was a lovely sunny afternoon so we had a walk along the river Don from the Brig o' Balgownie into Seaton Park. Part of the park that was always flooding has been allowed to be permanently wet, and the grass and reeds have been allowed to grow long, to give cover for the wildlife. I could scarcely see the heron through the grass, until I got to the new viewing platform.  In Extras, a female mallard in the sun.
