I wanted to do a colour/ full face self portrait where I wasn't hiding, to really challenge myself as I hate this side of the camera and can just about cope with B&W as it hides a multitude of sins. This isn't the shot I actually planned as I wanted to try and get creative in Photoshop using two photos in different positions and overlaying them with a blurry ghost like effect but it didn't work as I had hoped so I'll save that for another day. I used this shot instead and tried to emulate the style of two of my favourite portrait photographers, Rankin and John Wright. It's a bit basic but I promise I'll start getting more creative with self portraits soon!
