every morning and afernoon in term tim, our street is jammed with cars parking every which way, causing obstruction and inconvenience while collecting ordropping children off at school. Some parents may legitimatelyl live at a distance, or drive on to work, but most live a few hundred yards away, and seem incapable of walking with their children to school, with the obvious health benefits that walking entails, as well as reducing the  risk of being run over by errant drivers, of whom there seem to be many. grumble grumble
