Buddo on TV

Channel 5's TV programme, Susan Calman's Secret Scotland shown at 8pm is all about Orkney.  Susan visits several places of interest around Orkney including Maes Howe, Skara Brae village and Stromness Museum where she met 'Buddo' 

The ‘Skara Brae Buddo’ is a unique 5,000-year-old human figurine 9.5cm high carved from whalebone and originally discovered at the Skara Brae village in Orkney during the excavation of the village about 1850s.  It is currently in the Stromness Museum.   Buddo
