Savage Gardens

I snapped this quickly on my phone on the way, in the rain, between a hotel near the Tower of London and Fenchurch Street station. It was a novelty to take a c2c train from there, but Google was telling me that this was the best way to get to City Airport, and indeed it took just 20 minutes from the centre of the city. It had the added advantage of a few extra minutes in the company of L and L, who use that line to get back to where they are staying in Essex at the moment.

Very interesting strategy day with a charity for which I'm one of the trustees. But I was bushed by the time I got home.

The City of London is full of curious corners, as well as shiny building.
