Mileage

I have managed to squeeze a few blips out of these tulips that are on their last legs. I do think that they are so photogenic when they get past their prime.

Speaking of which, the mileage on my joints is starting to mount up.  I have been to three different orthopedic surgeons this week.  First, the knee specialist who gave me a cortisone shot in my knee which was causing me grief.  Then I went to the hand specialist who gave me a cortisone shot in my little trigger finger which has developed due to the crazy way I hold on to the camera for dear life.  Today I saw the shoulder specialist who has prescribed 6-8 weeks of physical therapy for rotator cuff tendonitis, probably due to hauling that 150-600mm lens around. The knee and little finger are in great shape now and the shoulder only bothers me when I move a certain way, so I don't.  Anyway,  I will be very ready for the big Blipmeet in Louisiana in a few weeks.
