Creating an Illusion

Just for fun I wanted to re-create some of the magic realism art seen in The Tate Modern. I painted my nails to mirror the pink and purple flowers, flung the petals around, placed powder compact in top right hand corner with little dragon fly necklace bought in Belfast beside it and wore my fur gloves bought in Camden Market.

The paintings shown in my art book are - the musical instruments ‘Old Models’ by William Harnett; van der Spelt’s ‘Still Life Flower Garland and Curtain’ and Espinosa’s ‘Still Life with Grapes’
