New leaf

A friend of mine was given a cutting of this plant and when she went to pot it up she discovered there was another smaller cutting as well. She potted them separately and gave the smaller one to me with strict instructions of how to care for it. It was just a small stem but by the end of last year had produced a few more shoots. I can't remember what it's called but it's a slow growing deciduous shrub/tree. It ahs been producing new leaves for a few weeks now and is looking quite healthy. I keep it in a pot by the back door where it's fairly sheltered and sunny on a good day.
