Mixed emotions!

Friday is grandchildren day and we picked them up from school in the campervan for a quick picnic. An assortment of fruits, some cheese, crackers and apple juice .... a healthy snack and fun times together. Evie had a huge strawberry which she tackled with enthusiasm. On a very sad note our dear cat Archie is very poorly. He has not been eating for a couple of days and is definitely unwell. A visit to the vet and a blood test shows he is very anaemic, calcium levels are bad and he probably has a tumour somewhere or lymphoma. There is nothing they can do for him so we’ve made the hard decision to have him put to sleep tomorrow morning. He is 13 and has been a healthy beautiful cat. The vet too feels it the best as he won’t get better and we don’t want him to suffer. Feeling very sad!
