Flower Friday: Carnations

Happy International Women's Day everyone! :)

I don't know if you can tell, but these carnations (all 12 of them) are made by a colleague of G's. She actually made 50 for us to use at the WWDP service tomorrow! I had to capture them for posterity, and today was the perfect day to blip them.

A nice leisurely start preceded the Salvation Army joint meeting. G made a big breakfast which puzzled me as we normally eat before the service starts, but today, we didn't eat until 4, so it was providential!

We had a beautiful, clear day with a cool breeze, so we didn't take the most direct route home. The evening, unfortunately, got squandered away lying on the sofa, playing games on my Android phone. The Playstore has opened up a whole new world! :9
