On the Beach

I knew I had to get out as early as possible to miss the rain. I arranged to meet Marian at the supermarket after her gym session so I went into Teignmouth (round the back way to avoid the roadworks). I went down to the front where the tide was still pretty high. I had to keep my wits about me because I had ordinary shoes on and I didn't want to get them wet. I wanted my photo with a wave drawing back so it was almost inevitable that I would get caught but I narrowly avoided it. Being quick on my feet, isn't something that comes so naturally anymore.

I got to the supermarket in time, even though I had to go through town and it took forever to go that mile .
