Mr EAnn does buy me some lovely flowers. It makes him feel a bit better about his expensive hobby.
While he was off flying this afternoon I have been on a journey to Tyneside in the early 1960s with author David Almond. A fabulous novel The Tightrope Walkers which has captured time and place so vividly you could be there - along with some engaging characters and a storyline that has me gripped. I hardly missed the other half and as a bonus I shan't feel at all bad when I get round to spending lots on a new camera.
