i went to the big town

Today I went to the Houses of Parliament with my school's school council - what an amazing trip! We went to the House of Commons, the House of Lords (where there was a debate going on) and a few other interesting rooms. What an amazing building and what interesting history! My favourite moment was probably when we went past Margaret Thatcher's statue and most of the kids made comments about how much their parents disliked her. Bit awkward for the lovely lady who was our guide.
