A lovely woman, always so elegantly turned out, we do keep fit together.

The town did a special event for women today, including a keep fit session in the main square, led by a very agile woman up in the bandstand. Felt slightly surreal. All around the square, men were leaning on the bars, looking at the women throwing themselves about. A stork sailed overhead. Must admit, I was glad to arrive late and only join in at the end. But it was good to chat and take photos and learn more about people here, who is related to whom, and as ever, detailed descriptions of various ailments and their treatments.

Luisa has invited me to a dinner with the leading ladies of the town, trying not to feel intimidated...

Gratefuls:
- feeling so accepted and included by folk 
- Mike plodding on with jobs here
- three events on the trot to go to now... gotta rush!
