Bob and Caley

While I don't dispute the thermometer reported positive air temperature value, that wind made it feel bitterly cold again.

Wrapped up well, and the very slight exertion involved in the tramp up Maol Ruadh, balanced the body heat nicely and personally I felt fine, and if the dogs had managed to break the ice somewhere I'm sure they would still have gone for a swim.

There was none of that winter sun sparkle either just looming black clouds charging up the glen. Despite that there was a look to the immediate slopes and the mountains that you only get at this time of year on this kind of day. I can't really describe any more in words but I think you get the feeling in this image. It is probably uniquely Scottish and its the kind of day I love in the hills.

I had errands to run in town and desk stuff too so it was half an hour rather than a good long mountain day.

Oh aye, and will M wear a hat?
