Overheard on the Bus This Morning ..

(In a transatlantic accent) ... Edinbro looks much nicer when the sun shines ......

It was the turn of the rain this morning, and I was missing singing (I still sound like a box of frogs) and shopping on Princes Street. Not for anything exciting, just replenishing the smalls.

This was taken at the bottom of the Mound looking up to the castle with the statue of Allan Ramsay looking out across the junction. Pastoral poet, publisher and father of the more famous Allan Ramsay the portrait painter, I doubt he'd recognise any of the scene before him.
