Paperbark tree part 2
When I passed the old paperbark tree again this morning my 'word' was still there. Bits were missing and it was tattered from the wind. The paper layers are tissue thin and very fragile.
No one had noticed the word. Or if they did they hadn't said anything.
I didn't really think they would. I thought there was a slight chance as it was on the footpath side. Lots of people pass by as this is a well used short cut.
The tree is an old one, quite beautiful in its own way but no one notices it as they rush by.
