Thursday: Tree Surgery ...

... the tree surgeons arrived at 9am as planned and we agreed on a price and they were keen to do the work this morning in spite of the torrential rain. So now we have a tidy horse chestnut with one main trunk, a neat Bramley apple and a seedling Ash tree which was about 20ft tall now logs!!
It rained all morning, about 30 minutes dry mid-afternoon and pouring with rain again ...
