A NEW BUB.....

.... the other day we had a Butcherbird flitting around the garden then came in under the awning and sat on the fan blade for awhile before taking off.

This arvo heard this bird call and thought that sounds like a Bub!

Went out, and there it was on the gutter of a neighbour - a baby pied Butcherbird singing (or maybe calling Mum) before taking off.

So obviously bred somewhere handy, which is good.
