Circus City

I finally visited the circus building and museum in Peru. It is way cooler than I expected. I spent a couple of hours with a long time caretaker of the extensive collection of circus memorabilia and found the whole history fascinating.
This photo is of the circus ring where the kids of Peru perform each July. It has engendered a devoted group. The gallery girls and I have agreed to do circus art to commemorate the anniversary of the circus this year. It's surprisingly hard to pick a subject.
