In the pink

This is a fine descendant of Great-Granddad Tradescantia,
If easy plantcare is your bag, you'll never find one handier.
Of green and pink and purple, there are no leaves that are dandier:
It is the very model of a potted tradescantia.

Here is my young tradescantia's ancestor.

Its stems are also useful for flowering arrangements.

These grow wild on the island of Madeira, so once again, this year, one of our favourite holiday destinations has come to us. That said, the gales, torrents of rain, and cold temperatures are definitely British early springtime!
