Unwinding

Wednesday. Day 3 in Barcelona.

It is good to be on holiday. It is good to be away from lunatic Brexit Britain. It is good to be somewhere warm. It is good to be in a place with such good food and wine. 

A lot has changed since I was last here for pleasure - in February 1973. It is good to catch up. 

In other ways the choice is less than ideal. Most buildings have several independent Catalunya flags hanging from the balconies and/or banners in support of their imprisoned political leaders.

No escape. No pasáran. 

Today’s main event was a visit to Hospital de la Santa Creu i San Pau. It was recommended by Blippers Tweedy and Janewatt. Great advice. We loved it.
