War horse

Another morning of horsing. Work hard, play harder seems to be my motto lately. 

I've always been fascinated with painted Indian horses. Today an opportunity arose and the temptation was too great. I looked up the symbolism and found this: 

The horse’s Battle Scars (always red) and the Pat Hand Print (hand on the horse's hip) were the highest honors. The Pat Hand Print was always reserved exclusively for the horse who had brought his master back home from a dangerous mission unharmed. 

All horsing done then dogs done, I was soon returning to work. Yet another night off for Gorgeous... He'll be forgetting he has a wife!
