Mulled Beer and Mince Pie

Feeling rather run down today, sore throat and irritated sinuses suggest I might have a cold coming on. I did intend to go out and do some Christmas shopping today but could bear the idea of going out in the cold (was very frosty over-night)!

I tried soup, hot drinks including Lemsip but was still feeling rough this evening so I popped down to the shops and picked up a couple things. I decided to try and make some Mulled Beer, admittedly it doesn't look very appealing (I used some "Hackney Gold" beer which is very cloudy and yeasty) but it did taste quite good, even if I didn't have any nutmeg, I'll try and pick up some nutmeg and make some more soon.
