Dropped scone...

...or is it a pancake?

Not the type of pancake I associate with shrove Tuesday but the rest of them all moan about them so we opted for this recipe this year.

I quite like a thinner pancake served with sugar and lemon juice.

The Rooster whipped up the batter...did this one then walked off and left MrR to finish it.

MrR had a look in the attic to see if we could find my Granny griddle pan to cook them on but alas he couldn’t put his hands on it so the skillet had to do.

Grateful for our dropped scones...Scotch pancakes...
